from their album 'Can You See Past A Lifetime'

Presence of the Lord by Thomas Culbertson & Christopher Duncan

If you’re here among us tonight

And it happens to be your first time

And you’re wondering inside “Man what is with this crazy crowd”

The air seems kind of thick

The hair is standin’ on the back of your neck

There’s no need to wonder more

Your in the presence of the Lord

And I assure you now there is no need to fear

He knows the reason why you’re here

He knows that- deep inside your searching

Just searching for some truth

Hear His Spirit calling you !

Take a look around

The Sprit of God is moving

His loving hand is touching the hearts

Of each and everyone

He’s healing the sick

Comforting the helpless

Oh, it happens all the time

In the presence of the Lord

So just raise your hands and call out His name

Oh sweet Jesus, take away my shame

Heal my heart, heal my mind

Take away my sin

Open up and let Him in

Ooo….. Oh hallelujah

Ain’t it wonderful to be in the

Presence of the Lord !

Oh sweet Jesus

Our Beautiful Redeemer

We’d love to live forever

In the presence of the Lord

Yes we want to live forever

In the presence of the Lord!

Glory Be by Thomas Culbertson

Used to be the kind of man,

Who would put down his brother.

Could never pass the chance

To find glory out of being mean.

Then someone opened my eyes,

I saw the direction I was going.

Jesus touched my heart,

And now I live in peace.

    CHORUS

Glory be

Jesus never gave up on me

He put a song in my heart,

A brand new start.

Now I fly on the wings of a lark.

He set me free.

Free...

Glory Be

Used to be the kind of man who would

Give into worldly desires

Used to envy the ways of self righteous evil men

But then there came that day,

He warmed my soul in his radiant fire

He blessed me with his love

And now I born again

    REPEAT CHORUS

The 100th PSALM  (from the psalms; musical arrangement by Thomas Culbertson)

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD,

all ye lands.

Serve the LORD with gladness:

come before His presence with singing.

Know ye that the LORD he is GOD:

it is He that hath made us and

not we ourselves;

for we are His people and the sheep

of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,

and into His courts with praise:

be thankful unto Him,

and bless His name.

For the LORD is good:

And His mercy is everlasting;

and His truth,

His truth endures

to all generations.

STILL YOUNG  by Thomas Culbertson and Christopher Duncan

I’m just a child, still young,

and growing is all that I’ve known.

Everyday is a new adventure;

I’ve such a long way to go.

Life is given to us for learning.

Flow down the rivers of time.

For time consumes even the mountains;

dries up the rivers, turns forests to ice.

Oceans to deserts and deserts to life.

But the spirit is beyond ever changing time.

So if you fear growing older

you’re in for a pleasant surprise.

There’s another dimension

beyond this body;

untouched by the limits of time.

Spiritual rivers flow through crystal mountains.

Silver clouds laced with feathers of light,

float upon His radiant sky;

bathed in His holy light.

Yes bathed in His holy light.

Reach your hands to the sky,

and bathe in His holy light !

Praise the name of Jesus Christ.

Hallelujah Hosanna praise his name

Repeat

I’m just a child still young.

And growing is all that I’ve known.

Every day is a new adventure.

I’ve such a long way to go.

A long time ago, before the foundations,

of this earth were laid

It was written, that Jesus Christ,

would come unto man and be slain.

Yes the Lamb of God would be slain.

But when He gave up his life,

He did not die in vain.

So, if you fear growing older,

you’re in for a pleasant surprise.

There’s another dimension beyond this body,

untouched by the limits of time.

Come unto Christ, and live in heaven,

for eternity.

Oh, there’s on other choice, the lake of fire.

Oh my friend can’t you see?

It’s eternal agony.

So reach out to Christ,

and set your spirit free.

Jump For Joy by Thomas Culbertson & Christopher Duncan

Jump For Joy, Sing and shout

We’ve all got something to get excited about.

Have you heard the time is near

For Jesus Christ’s return?

Don’t you feel a change in the air?

There are people searching everywhere.

Just think of the blessings when we tell of

The return of our Lord

So my friend prepare your heart

For the coming of the Lord

For the greatest riches of this world

Seem gray in the light of the Lord

Hallelujah Oh Glory

The Kingdom is at hand

Lift your voices throughout the land

Praise the name of the Lord

Instrumental interlude

Jump For Joy, Sing and shout

We’ve all got something to get excited about.

Have you heard the time is near?

For Jesus Christ’s return.

CAN YOU SEE PAST A LIFETIME by Thomas Culbertson and Christopher Duncan

The Holy Spirit, the voice inside

Weighs heavy on my soul.

Wheels keep a turning between the lines

Now I know which way I’ve got to go.

He said "Son you’ve got to leave your old friends behind

And give your life to me.

‘Cause all of your money and all of your pride

Won’t make a bit of difference when you’re called to die".

So you want to fly

On the wings of an eagle.

But you sail the waves of curiosity

Through your forgotten tales.

And when you finally arrive

At my judgment seat.

No longer will your footsteps

Mark the sands of time.

Can you see… past a lifetime?

Beyond your pain and tears.

Can you see… now is the right time

To throw away your fears.

Throw away your fears.

Just throw away your fears!

Night has fallen, I’m still on the road;

Another day is through.

I heard the call of my Lord Jesus…

At last I know it’s true!

We shall rise up

On wings of eagles.

We shall run and not be weary;

Walk and not faint.

When Jesus returns

In all his glory.

No longer will our footsteps

Touch the sands of time.

Can you see?

Can you see… past a lifetime?

The Calling by Thomas Culbertson & Christopher Duncan

Can’t you hear all the tormented souls crying from hell?

Crying out  “Save me Lord!”

Or are you too busy, there in your chair?

You don’t have the time,

Or you just don’t care.

Where would we be if our Lord Jesus;

Just… sat back in his easy chair?

Don’t you know we’re charged by the blood

To go out and gather the lost

To tell them what Jesus did on the cross.

To take the words of our Lord and Savior,

go and set the captives free,

touch the blind so they can see.

And tell them of the Kingdom of Heaven,

Hallelujah the Glorious Kingdom of Heaven!

Hallelujah Heaven!

Hallelujah Jesus set us free !

Thousands and thousands

Of unsaved souls die each day.

And no one has told them

That Jesus is the only way

‘Cause we’re all too busy

praying for our own selfish needs.

It’s time for the harvest

But The Call we just don’t heed!

Should we hide our candle in the closet?

Our Lord said we’re the light of the world.

Don’t you know we’re charged by the blood

To go out and gather the lost ?

To tell them what Jesus did on the cross.

To take the words of our Lord and Savior,

And go and set the captives free,

To touch the blind so they can see.

And tell them of the Kingdom of Heaven,

Hallelujah the Glorious Kingdom of Heaven!

Hallelujah Heaven!

Hallelujah Jesus set them free!

Can’t you hear all the tormented souls crying from hell?

Crying out; Save me Lord…

Song of Praise by Thomas Culbertson  (A gift from the Lord December 1981)

Blessed is the name of the Holy One,

Redeemer of my soul.

Blessed is the love of the Shepherd king,

Who’s come to take me home.

 CHORUS

Praise the name of the Lord;

Tower of wisdom,

My faithful sword.

Praise the name of His Son,

Loving Shepherd,

Who delivered us from the evil one.

Praise God!

Blessed is the love of Jesus Christ

Who was crucified,

The son of God.

The Rock of our salvation in which we stand.

Sing praises to the Highest of High,

The Everlasting Light,

Creator of man.

    REPEAT CHORUS

Piercing Eyes by Thomas Culbertson & Christopher Duncan

There is no place to hide

From the double-edged sword and his piercing eyes.

The sword that divides between the spirit and the flesh.

And eyes that burn with truth and righteousness.

Now we’re looking for your return… Jesus

Oh Lord Jesus I give it all to you

And I know by your love that

All you say is true

There’s no dark power or principality

That can reign as long as Jesus lives in me.

Now we’re looking for your return… Jesus

    Musical Interlude

Let us put on God’s full armor

Gird ourselves against the deceiver, the charmer

Bound together in one accord

A mighty army against the devil’s horde

Now we’re looking for your return… Jesus… your eyes

El Elyon by Thomas L. Culbertson

I shall raise my hands up high unto the Lord

My eternally great reward

El Elyon

I shall sing sweet praises to His name

His Holy Name

El Elyon

The Most High God

Once there was a man who’s soul was lost

He lived in shame

His soul was crying

But your only begotten Son saw he was lost

And reached out his hand

To comfort him in his sorrow

And set him free

Oh so triumphantly !

And the Lord thundered from Heaven

And uttered his voice

And sent out arrows to scatter

My enemies host

Praise His Name

His Holy Name

El Elyon

Who set me free

Free

Praise His name

I know that I’m not worthy

But You have washed me clean

How could you have been so merciful

Oh my Jesus

My King

I shall walk along this earth with hands held high

Sing out thy name

And speak of your glory

How your only begotten Son went to the cross

And suffered much

But rose on that third day

And set us free

Free

Oh so triumphantly

Who took us to Zion

And gave to us

A drink of new wine

BITTER WIND    by Thomas Culbertson and Christopher Duncan

I remember gazing at the sky.

On that cold wind driven night.

All the times, that I tried to make it through.

Though I gave my life to you.

I just couldn’t see what you had for me;

So I turned my back on you.

Away from you.

I want my way.

I’ll follow my natural path. ..

So I galloped wildly through all my pain

and my tears.

Until the day I took a good look in the mirror.

And I saw the spoiled child,

who had stole away my youth.

I was down on my knees,

and finally I could see...

This poor and wretched miserable soul,

which lived inside of me.

Inside of me!

Once again I’m a little boy.

Sitting in a sunbeam.

Lazy afternoon.

Rolling in the clover.

Skipping rocks on a pond.

The silent song of a flower in bloom.

Puffy white clouds rolling by.

Painting images in my eye.

Such a lovely day for a dream.

A dew drop drips from a leaf.

A songbird sings clear and sweet.

The taste of a first love so open and free.

My Father in heaven, Lord of mercy;

I am sanctified by the blood of your son.

My lord and Savior,

who has brought me to my knees.

I’m so humbled when I see.

That this very same God,

who created the earth.

Whose hand has parted the sea.

Lives in me.

Inside of me!

And I know that I’ve learned something.

If haven’t learned a thing at all.

That a man without Christ

is no man at all.

He’s just a cold bitter wind

He’s just a cold bitter wind

Blowing in the night.

He’s a cold bitter wind.
